Super Mario Galaxy 2 lands May 23rd in America

Great news finally for Nintendo Wii owners! Today at Nintendo’s Media Summit, it was announced that Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be released on may 23rd in the United States, no word on a European date yet sadly. This news is surprising as many thought it would be the big Nintendo Holiday release of this year.

This game and halo Reach are the two games I want most this year!

Nothing like a nice game of Mario, thought Mario Galaxy was very innovative, the only issue I can see about the sequel is that it's the exact same with different levels, wouldn't have minded a little reboot or something, you know go back to the way Mario 64 was. But it's good to see them doing more and more Mario for the on console, especially since they only had like Mario Sunshine and Paper Mario on the Gamecube.

Also a quick mention of much I am looking forward to the new Legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess was fantastic!

yeah they should be announcing that at this years E3, I have a feeling it will be Nintendo's big game for Christmas.

Thats a big statement to make that it's your most looked forward to game! It's going to be the first game I've played on my Wii since mario Kart was released, I'm looking forward to it but I don't think it would be in my top 5 even .
